Slightly removed from the dense and busy central Seoul, location of the new Art Complex provides a much more serene and community driven environment. Site is split in 4 separate plots divided by roads, which creates both a challenge and an opportunity for playful integration.
Each of the buildings on site has a different function, thus resulting in different volumes and facade treatments. Buildings sit on cascading terrain and are connected with both undulating bridges and terraces for and underground servicing corridors.
As a whole, Art Complex aims to create a vibrant environment for local artists and those interested in learning more about art.
