Metroscapes is a multidisciplinary studio based in Shanghai, China.

          Led by Serbian architect Milos Zivkovic, studio aims to push the boundaries of spatial design and introduce new concepts and ideas to the world of architecture. With many years of experience, numerous competitions won and projects built, Metroscapes carries expertise in all project scales and types. 

Milos Zivkovic

          Born in Belgrade, Serbia, Milos has committed his work to exploring different ways of manipulating space and form. He graduated at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade, where he received both Bachelors and Masters degree in Architectural Design. At the time he was assisting on projects at Arhitektonski Studio, where amongst other projects he was involved with designing the Nebojsa Tower museum's permanent exhibition. Following that, he worked under Rem Koolhaas as an intern at the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) in Rotterdam, most importantly on Coolsingel and Stadskantoor project - a competition win for the new Rotterdam Town Hall building, whose construction finished in 2016. He moved to Shanghai in 2011 where he worked as a Senior Architect at 10 Design until 2015, working on many high profile mixed use developments around China. In 2012 he was a part of the team representing Serbia at the Venice Biennale of Architecture with the project "100". In late 2014 he founded Metroscapes together with its sub-studio Bitscapes which specialises in architectural visualisation.
